Key job responsibilities:

Key position reporting to Automation Lead Project Engineer. Work with-in the Turnaround Impact Team Coordinating the Instrument/Automation Job Pack planning and execution. Develop the detailed plan for Automation Preventive Maintenance jobs. Identify spares required and ensure they are available including identification of long lead items. Develop equipment and manpower requirements to support the Instrumentation and Automation job pack. Develop system functional test procedures where necessary to ensure the system functionality is as approved design. Ensure the required Automation testing has been completed before the equipment put in operation. Ensure that the related TA work scope executed in safely manner as per schedule. Ensure the scheduled pre-turnaround activities are executed safely and timely manner. Serves as a role model in safety, including behavioral-based safety (BBS). Thorough knowledge of Automation and instrumentation standards. Thorough knowledge of Instrumentation pre-commissioning and commissioning methods and standards. Coordinate Automation project activities with Automation group and contractors. Ensure Automation projects contractors follow safe work practices and safety requirements. Ensure the quality of project construction activities are according to the project standards.

Required experience/skills:

Technical qualification in Automation / Instrumentation with minimum 6 years’ experience in Automation/Instrumentation projects and turnaround execution. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of instrument and controls systems construction activities. Proactive approach to Health, Environmental & Safety (HES) initiatives. Good coordination and communication skills to work with people from different nations around the world. Communication skills in Russian/Kazakh and moderate English.
