The incumbent will work with their counterpart to ensure the team understands the Attainment principles, Build it Clean, Keep it Clean, Containment and Preservation requirements for the complete program of work in the construction program in their responsible assigned locations. The coordinator will develop the required Surveillance team levels working with their counterpart and the Project QA/QC team to ensure a robust process is in place to track and record all steps required to achieve success.
• Responsible for the safety performance of the team members within the location of assignment.
• Responsible to ensure that the contractor’s personnel comply with the Project IIF and BBS programs.
• Responsible for monthly safety meetings in the assigned area working with the PJV counterpart to develop a safety meeting program covering safety items that meaningful to the program of work.
• Will complete a BBS observation on a monthly basis. In the location of assignment when workload increases then there maybe a requirement for weekly BBS observations.
• Will work with the BBS Coordinator to ensure that reported trends are understood and acted on timely to ensure the required corrective actions are completed.
• Will complete permit audits in contractor work areas to ensure full compliance is being achieved.
• Work with their Preservation counterparts and Safety and Security departments to ensure a fully approved Site Specific Emergency Response Plan (SSERP) is in place for their work area and updated as required. It is important that the SSERP is known and understood by all members of the preservation team which includes both Company and Contractor personnel
