•    Carry out supervision over construction works such as HES audits at construction site, take part in potential hazards identification and safety observations programs; comply with state 
•    Carry out supervision over project and contractors employees that perform construction activities. 
•    Check Job Packages and ensure proper level of work performance.
•    Verify requirements for materials issue and ensure availability of necessary materials prior to commencement of work.
•    Carry out control over contractor’s compliance with safe work practices.
•    Ability to read and understand engineering drawings related to relevant disciplines. 
•    Carry out control over quantity of pieces of equipment and personnel of contractor organizations that perform the work.
•    Carry out control over quality of construction works performed by contractor and compliance with project technical requirements.
•    Check correctness of as-built documentation provided by contractor.
•    Conduct well-coordinated work with relevant departments for receipt of Work Permits.
•    Conduct well-coordinated work with relevant Technical Engineer(s) for achieving project objectives.
•    Participate in final inspections of completed works together with Railroad Operations.
•    Collect necessary information upon project completion.
•    Know about pipes, fittings, valves under pressure, temperature limiters; procedures of equipment setting, procedures for lifting of heavy load and equipment;
•    Determine types of soil; procedures for soil compaction; procedures for strengthening trench walls; instructions for installation of formwork and barricades; properties of concrete and testing procedure.
