Job Accountabilities:

·         Provide technical expertise and support for procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring the quality and cost control of the works according to the contracts requirements

·         To review the Contractors design documents related to electrical engineering

·         To assure the design is in line with the Company’s specification and in compliance with applicable standards and codes

·         To interface with the others engineering disciplines Leads to properly and timely develop the projects

·         To manage and approve the site design changes originated by construction/installation reasons

·         To complete the Contractors’ detailed design approval and develop additional site engineering as the case could be.

·         To identify and assess the technology and systems to allow improvements and facilitate design and operability

·         To verify and manage the interface engineering of the packages designed by the different Contractors

·         To ensure that Technical Queries (TQs), Concession Requests (CRs) and Site Queries (SQs) are timely resolved and properly managed through SIGEP

·         To support the Technical Services Team Lead (CSA/EIT) in processing from the technical point of view Concession Requests (CRs), Project Change Notices (PCNs) and Claims

·         To verify the availability of AFC drawings in order not to jeopardize the sequence of the construction activities as scheduled.

·         To assist the Construction and Commissioning Team to achieve the project technical requirements

·         To verify the completeness and correctness of the AS BUILT drawings and manage all the final project documentation to ensure the ultimate handover to NCOC N.V. operation

·         To ensure the development of local capabilities and provide on-job training of the assigned resources

·         To supervise and coordinate the electrical engineering activities in accordance with budget, schedule and quality standards

·         Advise on Electrical equipment standardization, availability, and sparing philosophies.

·         Supporting design reviews of package electrical

·         To support the Technical Services Team Lead (CSA/EIT) by supervising, reporting and updating on all the technical aspects of electrical engineering activities.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

·         Minimum of 6-8 years discipline experience, preferably in complex onshore and off-shore oil and gas projects; Front End Engineering, Detailed Design, Commissioning and Operation. Include all aspects of Electrical engineering. Extensive site experience, as well as design house experience.

·         A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with Major Contractor.

·         Familiarity with most major Electrical vendors

·         Experience with all major vendors of electrical equipment and process plant equipment.

·         Strong history of working with other related disciplines (HVAC, Civil, Process, Instrument, Safety, Rotating Equipment, Operations).

·         Experience in the design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of Heath Safety Security and Environment.

Prior experience in major complex project is beneficial.
