Reports to his/her superior QCS Superintendent/Supervisor.

• Properly carries out his/her discipline inspections on time as indicated on NFI, as described in related regulations, specifications, procedures, codes and, as detailed in related ITP
• Records result of inspection on approved quality forms.
• Identifies and reports non-conformance through inspection and surveillance 
• Increases quality awareness among direct work force by conducting tool box talks.
• Follow-up implementation of his/her discipline related corrective and preventive actions as directed by his/her QC Supervisor
• As a minimum, high school graduate or equivalent
• Has minimum six (6) years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including minimum five (5) years of independent inspection experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected.
• Fully conversant with applicable industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision as required to verify compliance with requirements.
• Can read his/her discipline engineering drawings.
• Has knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 Quality system requirements and implementation.

Specific Requirements

• Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with road construction, dirt work, piling, concrete batch plants, concrete testing, and foundation work.
• Have three (3) to five (5) years civil structural inspection experience.
• Have a working knowledge of applicable materials, and civil installations and limited experience directly related to concrete foundations, underground utilities, piling, shoring, heavy civil excavation, pavements, structural concrete, and structural steel on institutional, commercial, transportation and industrial construction.
• Be familiar with ACI, and other applicable codes and standards related to civil structural construction
